Thunderbolt Ross Description Teases Red Hulk For ‘Captain America 4’
Captain America: New World Order could see Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross turn into the Red Hulk.
New evidence teases that Thunderbolt Ross becomes the Red Hulk during the events of 2024’s Captain America: New World Order. Harrison Ford recently joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ross, replacing the late William Hurt, who played the character in five movies.
Insider Daniel Richtman shared a Captain America: New World Order character description for Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross on his Patreon account, revealing that the antagonist is set to become the President of the United States in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The description also mentions that Ross uses radiation to transform himself into Red Hulk, setting him up as a formidable foe for future MCU projects.
Ford has already signed on reprise his role as Ross for the Thunderbolts movie, which is currently slated to hit theaters two months after Captain America: New World Order. Details regarding how Ross factors into the two movies are being kept under wraps, but with Red Hulk seemingly coming to the MCU, Captain America and the rest of the Avengers are in for quite a challenge.
New World Order is set after the Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which follows Sam Wilson as he embraces the Captain America mantle in a post-Avengers: Endgame world. Thunderbolt Ross and The Leader (played by Tim Blake Nelson) are expected to serve as the main villains of New World Order.
Julius Onah is directing Captain America: New World Order, working a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The film’s cast also includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Shira Haas as Sabra.
Captain America: New World Order arrives on May 3, 2024. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
