Linda Evangelista 2022 Vogue UK Cover Fendi Campaign Photos
After her highly-publicized experience with CoolSculpting, supermodel Linda Evangelista has been largely absent from the spotlight for the past few years. She has recently returned with the September 2022 cover of Vogue UK as well as a new Fendi Baguette campaign.
The renowned Steven Meisel, who has already collaborated extensively with the Canadian model, was responsible for photographing both projects. In fact, Meisel captured the supermodel for a Moschino fragrance campaign launchd several years ago.
Linda Evangelista appears on the cover of the British edition of Vogue wearing a red coat by Dolce & Gabbana, a hat by Laird Hatters, and a headscarf custom-made for her. The shoot was styled by the editor-in-chief, Edward Enninful, and hair was done by Guido Palau, while Pat McGrath did makeup.
In a previous interview, the model discussed how her physique and features had changed. Vogue shares that McGrath used tape and elastics to get the final look. Linda Evangelista is quoted in the magazine as saying the following regarding the process of marketing a different image: “Look, for photos I always think we’re here to create fantasies. We’re creating dreams. I think it’s allowed. Also, all my insecurities are taken care of in these pictures, so I got to do what I love to do.”
Linda Evangelista – Fendi Baguette Winter 2022 Campaign
Fendi introduced a new advertising campaign in July 2022 that starred Linda Evangelista and featured her posing with the brand’s signature Baguette bag as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Now we see even more images with the iconic accessory.
In one advertisement, the supermodel was photographed in New York City wearing stacked baseball caps, sunglasses, a turtleneck, and gloves. The shoot was styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, while Mary Howard was responsible for the set design.
The Italian luxury brand collaborated with the likes of Tiffany & Co. The designs were reinterpreted through the use of gloves and hats in colorful hues. The Fendi Baguette was initially designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997. Linda Evangelista poses with the accessories available now as well as early 2023.
I didn’t want to do a traditional ‘collection’ for the anniversary. Rather it’s a celebration of a time, of the moment the Baguette became famous. I relate that time to a sense of freedom in excess and fun – both qualities the Baguette possesses.
